Celebrate the winter solstice North East in a calm, relaxing way with an early-morning festive-season event at Ramside Spa

Ahead of the shortest day of the year, the County Durham spa is hosting a special session which celebrates the arrival of the Winter Solstice in the North East on December 20.

Start at 6:30 a.m. with a yoga session that combines movement and meditation, then enjoy brunch at 8 a.m. in the spa’s Fusion restaurant.

Participants can then enjoy use of the spa’s many facilities, before ending the morning feeling refreshed and ready for the busy days ahead.

“This is a fantastic way to embrace calm and connect with internal energy,” said Fay Pratt, Ramside Spa director.

“It’s a real welcome of the winter season in a meaningful way which we are sure everyone who takes part will enjoy.”

The Winter Solstice package costs £79 per person – with limited places available – and yoga mats will be provided, but anyone who wants to bring their own is also welcome to do so.
