Spectrum and I.
Hi! My name is Caroline Dask. I’ve created Spectrum digital magazine because, as a journalist, I am deeply interested in people. Including the lives they’ve lived, the stories they carry and the experiences that shape who they are. Storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do and Spectrum is a reflection of that passion.
My vision for Spectrum is simple: to create a safe, positive space for readers. It’s a place where you can pause, reflect and discover something new. Here you can find insightful interviews, local foodie hotspots, or articles on health and wellbeing, opinion pieces and more.
Living in the North East has given me a deep appreciation for the vibrant community we’re part of, and Spectrum aims to celebrate that spirit. You’ll find features on regional gems, from hidden cafés to wellness retreats, alongside uplifting stories that shine a light on remarkable individuals from all corners of the world.
I believe that stories have the power to inspire change, foster understanding and build connections. I’m here to share the narratives that matter and to highlight the beauty in everyday moments.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. I’m so glad you’re here and I hope you find as much joy in reading Spectrum as I do in creating it.
