Walk with INNSiDE Newcastle – About the Communities

The new walking initiative is in partnership with local walking communities Girls Who Walk Newcastle and Bond & Bloom Liverpool.

Girls Who Walk Newcastle is a free, casual community based in the heart of Newcastle, for women to meet like-minded people and make connections through walking and talking.

Similarly, Bond & Bloom Liverpool is a safe space for women in Liverpool to come together for walks and events. It’s a community with an aim to combat loneliness in the city.

The Benefits of Walking Together

Walking with a group provides numerous benefits beyond just physical exercise. It fosters social connections, boosts motivation, and promotes a sense of community and shared goals. Walking groups also offer advantages like increased accountability, opportunities to meet new people, and a chance to explore new places.

The new initiative is in keeping with INNSiDE by Melia’s philosophy ‘Stay Curious’. It promises to accommodate guests’ every need with considered comforts and locally inspired experiences.

The walking events in Newcastle and Liverpool will begin at 11 am on Sunday, 18 May. On the day, guests should meet at the INNSiDE Newcastle Gino D’Acampo Terrace at the rear of the hotel.
